Foxtail is a thriving company specializing in 100% Virgin Remy hand-tied hair extensions.

Our founder and CEO, Lindsay Kelly, is a master hairstylist and salon owner. She has always loved doing hair since she was a little girl, and she started doing her own hair and for family and friends when she was just 5 years old.

Immediately after she graduated high school, she moved to Hawaii to live with her now-husband. And few years, they moved together to Austin, Texas, where she started beauty school to pursue her dreams of becoming a hairstylist.

She opened her own salon when she was 22 years old and ran it for 15 years before selling it off to start a smaller one where she could refocus on her clients and the Foxtail Hand-Tied Company.

When she still had the bigger salon, she taught other stylists everything she knew, including how to do hair extensions and make a lot of money doing hair.

Talking about hair extensions, she did for her clients and taught other stylists how to do different extensions, including keratin bond, tie-in, tape-in, etc. 

However, she soon found that hand-tied extensions are the best of any type because of:

  • How friendly it is to clients hair (even to fine hairs)
  • The way it lasts longer on the clients head
  • How easy it is to cover and style
  • How easy it is to learn and start and most importantly,
  • How in-demand it is and the revenue-growing potential it brings

However, with all the good potentials hand-tied extensions pack, Lindsay soon discovered huge business-impacting problems with big companies that manufacture them, which led her to start Foxtail Hand-Tied Company.

As Lindsay started getting more and more clients coming to her salon for hand-tied extensions appointments, she started ordering and doing more and more extensions.

As she ordered more extensions and made more installations, she started noticing that:
